Allari Naresh with Pawan's Director
Posted by
Crazyguy Nani
Generally film titles of ‘Allari’ Naresh are funny and attractive. Whether he acts in films that have funny titles or his films are given funny titles is no more a fancy debate. After the likes of ‘Madata Kaaja,’ he is engaged for two other films titled as ‘Nuvvaa Nena’ and ‘Nela Takkuvodu’ which is now followed by one more named as ‘Sudi Gaadu.’
‘Nela Takkuvodu’ is one who did not spend all nine months in mother’s womb or a premature baby while ‘Sudi Gaadu’ is Dame Luck’s favorite which will be a remake of the Tamil comedy hit ‘Tamil Padam.’ Good director Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Suswagatham’ and ‘Annavaram’ fame is producer and director of film which is scheduled for a summer release.

2009 is still haunting Junior NTR!
Posted by
Crazyguy Nani
junior ntr aggressively campaigned for Telugu Desam Party in 2009 dreaming for a big political career in future. Taking full support from his uncle Nara Chandrababu Naidu, he drew all fires on Congress and PRP those times. However, none knows that special judicial process that took almost three years of time to raise summons on NTR for violating the election code during his campaign in Madhira, Khamman district.
Judge of Madhira Court issued summons to NTR for violation of election code by campaigning in the town even after the completion of permitted hours. NTR needs to attend before the judge on 20th of this month in connection with this case. One has to wait and see…how TDP will come forward to rescue NTR from this case.

Who will be the Coolest in Summer Heat?

Summer will be the most favorable season for our Producers to cash upon. With schools closed and holidays in full swing, usually family audiences will love to jump into theatres without considering either it is a weekend or mid week days. This summer is going to be a big treat for Telugu film lovers as we have big heroes in the fray fighting in middle with their prestigious projects.
Line wise, we have ramcharan’s ‘Rachcha,’ Junior NTR’s ‘Dammu,’ Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh,’ Ram’s ‘Endukante Premanta,’ Balakrishna’s ‘Adhinayakudu,’ Rana’s ‘Naa Ishtam,’ Raviteja’s ‘Daruvu,’ Aadi’s ‘Lovely,’ Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Life Is Beautiful,’ Teja’s ‘Neeku Naaku Dash Dash’ and few more flicks standing in the queue to hit the screens at minimum time intervals. With good films ‘Ishq, Poola Rangadu and Love Failure’ enjoying the glorious response from public, let us wait for a Cool Treat to beat the Summer Heat.

Director Doing Business With Sexy Babe

In spite of having a magnificent star cast, some films will stay lackluster for various other reasons. One such flick in the news these days which is less covered by media is ‘Department’ of Ramgopal Varma. While buzz and biz for this project remained at lower levels, it seems RGV has spread his magical mantra by roping in sexy babe nathalia kaur to do a spicy item song.
With in first few days after the entry of Nathalia and her first look visuals out in media, all of the sudden ‘Department’ has become the most discussed topic in film circles. Lucky enough…even ‘Andam’ helped this much more. Insiders opine that, an expert RGV will lift business of this flick to new highs using one item song of ‘Dan Dan’ and Natahlia. Well, definitely one ahs to say Hats Off to Varma’s timing sense and business acumen.

Pawan For Nitin & Mahesh For Siddharth

What a coincidence…while Pawan Kalyan started offering his support to Nitin’s ‘Ishq’ by attending the audio launch function of the film which became the lucky element for film’s success, now mahesh babu too has done the similar by tweeting positive for Siddharth’s ‘Love Failure.’ One more co-existence is that, both ‘Ishq’ and ‘Love Failure’ are the romantic flicks which are running on hit lines.
However Pawan helped Nitin by giving his physical presence at ‘Ishq’ audio but Mahesh offered some sort of promotion to ;Love Failure’ through Twitter. ‘Love failure is 1of the most innovative films i saw in recent times..congrats to sidharth n d entire team for pulling it off..,’ is the tweet from Mahesh and response by Sid was, ‘Thank you superstar @urstrulyMahesh…your encouragement means the world to the entire Love Failure team...you are truly a class apart bro!’ Good that these two stalwarts of film industry are supporting small flicks coming from fresh, talented and debutant directors.

Eka Veera Review –Despite
being a Telugu, Aadhi Pinisetty got his first break in Tamil cinema and has
been continuing to do films in Kollywood. His latest film Aaravan has been
dubbed in Telugu as Eka Veera. Here’s the review…
Story:
The story happens in 18th century. Veera Puli (Aadhi) is one of the thieves in a village full of them who depends on burglaries to live. Veera Puli has a hidden truth behind him. An incident happens and he has to reveal his actual identity. Veera Puli was Chinna in the past. He has been hiding for nine years from the people of his village and he has to spend another year to save his life. What happened to him and why should be hiding for ten years? That is what this story is about.
Analysis:
Eka Veera is made out of a fiction novel written by Venkatesan. The trailers and look of this film gives an impression that it is an adventurous film. But the fact is far from it. Eka Veera is more of an emotional drama. If you go with prior expectations, you would surely end up disappointed.
The story of this film is Okay but the screenplay is not so good. First half of the film is decent and holds the interest of the viewer, but the second half drags endlessly and ends on a anti note. The second half is unlikely to sustain the interest of Telugu audience due to excessive Tamil flavor.
However, the film is splendid on the technical front. Director has worked on getting every detail to the perfection. Art and cinematography are brilliant and the film school aspirants would fall in love with the technical strength of this film. People who seek entertainment might well be disappointed.
Performances:
Aadi is raw and confident. He has done a good job yet again. Pasupathi is spectacular. Dhansika suits the role. Anjali and Bharath did guest roles. Every actor has done his/her best to give an impression that we are actually watching the characters from 18th century.
Technicalities:
Music is Okay but an experienced music director might have done wonders to it. Editing is good. Cinematography is an asset and the art director’s contribution is priceless. Dubbing quality is good as dialog writer Sri Rama Krishna comes up with a fine job after ages.
Director Vasantha Balan should be lauded for taking up such complicated subject. His direction is flawless. Only complaint is the script that doesn’t have universal appeal.
Final Word: Eka Veera is a technically high quality film. Excessive Tamil flavor and slow pace work against it.

Malligadu Telugu Movie Review

Movie: Malligadu
Cast: Karthi, Priyamani,Ponvannan,Saravanan,Ganja karuppu, and others.
Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja
Director: Ameer Sultan
Cinemamasti Rating: 2.75/5
Release Date: 02 March 2012
Cast: Karthi, Priyamani,Ponvannan,Saravanan,Ganja karuppu, and others.

Director: Ameer Sultan
Cinemamasti Rating: 2.75/5
Release Date: 02 March 2012
Malligadu is the Telugu dubbed version of the award winning Tamil flick ‘Paruthiveeran’.Two National Awards, six Filmfare-South and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards besides an entry in several international film festivals… Paruthiveeran (2007) has served as a perfect launch pad for Karthi in Kollywood. The movie has Karthi in the lead along with Priyamani and the movie was Karthi’s debut flick. Now, releasing into Telugu as Malligadu, the flick is expected to get the actor a hat-trick in Tollywood and revive the limping career of Priyamani as well.
Story:
Malli Babu ( Karthi ) is a ruffian and a rowdy sheeter who keeps getting into trouble with the law on a daily basis. Together with his uncle Sivayya ( Saravanan ), Malli Babu roams around the countryside, looking for entertainment as well as trouble. He is adored by Malli ( Priyamani ) who happens to be his relative, but he does not reciprocate her feelings. On the other hand, Malli’s father Nagayya ( Ponvannan ) hates Malli Babu for his behaviour and for mixing with low caste people.
As the story keeps moving back and forth to showcase the struggle of human emotions and caste equations, Malli Babu begins to understand and reciprocate Malli’s love. All hell breaks loose when he decides to marry Malli and he becomes the most hated man in the village. Will Malli Babu and Malli be able to realize their dreams? Will the villagers allow them to have a life together? That forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Karthi is simply outstanding in the role of Malli Babu. He swears and staggers across the screen with the ease of a senior actor and that is impressive for a debut movie. Priyamani has a lot of scope to perform in a powerful role and she shines through. When we look at Priyamani now, we can’t help but wonder ” What happened to the actress in her?”.
Ponvannan and Saravanan are good in their respective roles. From an acting perspective, everyone justified their presence and there is nothing to fault here. There are some memorable scenes in the second half that will stick with you. In fact, the movie turns slightly enjoyable once Karthi reciprocates Priyamani’s love.
Minus Points :
The movie maybe an award winning flick, but it is too raw and too shocking for regular Telugu crowds. There is too much Tamil nativity in the movie and it is just impossible to connect with the scenes. The costumes, the look of the actors and the village scenes will not stick with Telugu people. Priyamani’s looks are deliberately toned down and she is actually seen in a dark skin tone. Karthi’s look and costumes may be authentic and good for jury awards, but for regular movie goers here, they will be a major turn off.
Scenes like the one where a dying woman ( who is bleeding to death ) is gang – raped, will be extremely hard for people to accept here. The narration is also very slow and can get extremely boring at times. The climax will make many people squirm in their seats.
Technical aspects:
Cinematography is outstanding and some of the scenes, where black and white effect has been used, will stay in your mind. Background score is very good but the songs are just about average. Editing is below par. Dialogues could have been better.
Verdict :
‘Malligadu’ is a movie with some terrific performances, but it will not survive in our market. The movie may have won numerous awards in Tamil Nadu, but the extreme Tamil nativity and very raw scenes will turn away large sections of the audience. The movie will actually make you feel bad and slightly depressed .Malligadu can be safely avoided unless you like radically different movies with extreme Tamil nativity.

MaheshBabu was the costliest hero in Tollywood undoubtedly until now. He delivered two back to back commercial blockbusters. After BusinessmanMaheshBabu has hiked his remuneration to 12 Crores. Everybody was pondering that NTR and Pawan Kalyan may reach MaheshBabu if they can pull off a big hit, but NTR has done it without a single hit.
According to latest reports NTR signed a project with K.S.Rama Rao for a whopping 12 Crores and now sits at the top as highest paid actor in Tollywood along with MaheshBabu. NTR is currently busy shooting for Dammu which is being produced by Alexander Vallabha, son of K.S.Rama Rao.
Impressed by Young Tiger's performance in Dammu, KS Ramarao signed the new project with him. With this deal he booked the NTR's calender for the period after his film with Seenu Vaitla. Director for this project is not announced yet yet. NTR has got huge mass appeal which is specially strong in B and C centers. This news should delight fans of Young Tiger, Congrats Junior.
